The Lobby of the Peninsula Tokyo serves the group’s afternoon tea with a pianist and a seasonal tier that changes with the Japanese calendar, and the strawberry editions from January to March book out a month ahead.

The Lobby is a long room with a pianist and Hibiya Park through the windows; the tea comes on the Peninsula stand with sandwiches, scones, a seasonal pastry tier and the group’s teas. The strawberry teas in winter and the chestnut in autumn are the sought-after ones.

The Boutique & Café on the same floor sells the seasonal cakes without a wait.
