Let the wheel decide
Dessert Roulette
Thirty-two signature desserts on a wheel; filter by city or category, spin, and eat what it says. If you disagree, spin again.
For the evenings when nobody can decide: the roulette carries every signature dessert of the guide, from the Ispahan to the ensaimada, and lands on one. Filter by city or by category first if you must; the wheel does not take advice once it is spinning.
The wheel is drawn on a canvas with one segment per dessert and spins with an easing curve to a random segment; the result shows the dessert, its house, its profile and the link to the story and the home version, with a share card. Filters reduce the wheel to a city or a category; the address of the page keeps the result so it can be shared.
Frequently asked questions
Is the roulette really random?
Yes, within the filters you set; the wheel picks a segment with the browser’s random number and the spin is only the show.
Can I spin for a city?
Yes: set the city filter and the wheel carries only its desserts.
