Rosewood Munich

Rosewood Munich opened in 2023 in the former Bavarian State Bank and the Palais Neuhaus-Preysing and brought a full afternoon tea to a city that had taken its cake in coffee houses.

The two historic buildings behind the Frauenkirche, a nineteenth-century bank and a rococo palace, became Rosewood Munich in 2023: a courtyard, a spa, the Brasserie Cuvilliés and a lounge where the afternoon tea is served with a tier that mixes Bavarian pastry with the Rosewood tradition of Hong Kong and London. The pastry kitchen produces a Prinzregententorte of its own, seasonal cakes and a Christmas collection that sold out in its first winter.

The Rosewood is the modern Munich four o’clock: a booked table, a full tier, and a walk to Dallmayr afterwards.
