Läderach
Fresh chocolate, broken to order
Läderach sells fresh chocolate in slabs, FrischSchoggi, broken to order from the counter: hazelnut, almond, cranberry and salted caramel in milk, dark and white, from a family house founded in Glarus in 1962.
Jules Läderach founded the house in Glarus; his family still runs it and has made the fresh chocolate slab its signature: large sheets of chocolate poured with nuts, fruit and caramel, broken into pieces at the counter and sold by weight in paper bags. The Bahnhofstrasse shop is a wall of slabs; the house also makes pralines, truffles and bars.
It is the most fun chocolate counter in Zurich and the one to take children to.
