Kreuther Handcrafted Chocolate
Bonbons beside a two-star kitchen
Gabriel Kreuther opened his chocolate shop beside his two-star restaurant on Bryant Park in 2016: bonbons and bars by the pastry chef Marc Aumont, with Alsatian flavours and a New York polish.
The shop shares a wall with the restaurant and its pastry kitchen, and the chocolates are made by the same team: bonbons with Alsatian and Franco-American flavours, hazelnut, pretzel, bourbon, a chocolate bar with the house logo, and hot chocolate to take out in winter. The shop is small, the boxes elegant, and the quality is that of a two-star kitchen.
It is the Midtown chocolate stop between the Plaza tea and the theatre.
