Palaishalle, Bayerischer Hof
A harp under glass
The Palaishalle of the Bayerischer Hof serves afternoon tea under a glass roof with a harpist, a tier of Bavarian and French pastry and the Prinzregententorte on the trolley: Munich’s grand four o’clock.
The hall is a glass-roofed courtyard in the heart of the hotel, palms, marble, a harp from three. The tea: sandwiches, scones, a pastry tier from the hotel kitchen with the Prinzregententorte and Bavarian cream among the French pieces, and a tea list with the house blends.
Falk’s Bar in the old mirror hall serves the pastry without a booking.
