Pastisseria Pomar
The family classic
Pomar has baked ensaimadas, gató and the island’s pastry in Palma since 1930, a family house with several shops in the city and the bakery the Palma families order their celebration cakes from.
The Pomar family opened its first bakery in the 1930s and has grown into a small chain across Palma without losing the artisanal side: ensaimadas plain and filled, the gató d’ametlla, the cardinal, the rubiols and crespells of the calendar, and a counter of French-style cakes. The Sindicat shop near the Plaça Major is the central one.
It is the everyday ensaimada of Palma and a fair price for the island’s pastry.
