Dallmayr

Pralines since 1700

Dallmayr on the Dienerstrasse is the delicatessen of Munich, in business since 1700, with a confiserie counter where the pralines are made in the house, a coffee roasted in Munich and a café upstairs above the marble halls.

The delicatessen supplied fifteen royal courts and survived as a Munich institution: halls of marble, fountains with live crayfish, counters of cheese, charcuterie and the confiserie, where the house pralines, truffles and chocolates are made and sold by weight beside the famous coffee. The café and the restaurant upstairs serve the pralines with coffee and a Bavarian afternoon.

A box of Dallmayr pralines and a bag of Prodomo coffee is the Munich gift with a history.
