The croissants and the flowers
The Opéra boutique is Cédric Grolet’s second Paris house: two floors, a café, the croissants and the flower tarts he does not sell at the palace, and a queue that starts before the door opens.
The shop opened in 2019 on the avenue de l’Opéra with a bakery counter on the ground floor, the sculpted fruit, the flower tarts with petals of thin dough, the cookies, and a salon upstairs. It is larger and more relaxed than the rue de Castiglione counter and open longer, and the croissant here is one of the three best in Paris.
The queue is shortest after three; the fruit still sells out.
